         <description><![CDATA[<div>The steps are:<br>(1) Interphase 1: The genetic materials in the somatic cells are replicated to produce two identical sister chromatids, and makes 4N genetic material.<br>(2) Prophase 1: The homologous chromosomes pair up to form tetrads and cross over.<br>(3) Metaphase 1: The tetrads line up in the middle, and the spindle fibers attach to each tetrad<br>(4) Anaphase 1: The tetrads are pulled apart to each side. This pulling apart has almost 8 million configurations.&nbsp;<br>(5) Telophase 1: The cleavage furrow forms&nbsp;and  two haploid cells form. </div>]]></description>
