1. Genius Hour: (Individual Activity)

Each student in the group will design a musical instrument including “sea” materials or traditional items or both. You will upload your  Picture with musical instrument here. (November coloumn) writing your name / country / city /school. (ex: Ella / Rose’s team / France / College Cite)   You can upload only one Picture or you can make a collage with many pictures if you like. 

2. Collaborative Work: Each student will write a sentence using the given Web 2.0 tool. (MeetingWord : You will use a pad text and this pad text is synchronized as you type, so that everyone viewing this page sees the same text.)  This allows you to collaborate seamlessly on documents! The song should be about sea, sea love, sea creatures, sea life, Mediterrenean! The last step of the November activity will be to perform this song playing musical instruments and singing your song. ( To do this activity, you should be in touch with the team members tighly and communicate well) At the end of the activity each team should have a song! 

Between 1867 and 1882, Panagiotis Potagos made two major exploratory trips to Central Asia (from Iran to Mongolia) and one to central Africa. Without any support from his country or anyone else, he tried to compete with the famous explorers of the National Geographic Companies of Europe.

He managed to publish only the first volume of his Tours in a Greek (1883) and a French (1885) edition. His work is unique, both in its geographical and ethnological aspects, which is particularly concerned with the Hellenistic survival in Afghanistan, but remains virtually unknown in our time. The manuscript of the (mainly ethnological) second volume of "Tours" was never published and was unfortunately lost, as it was destroyed by the heirs of Potagos himself.

Among other things he discovered the great Boom River of the Central African Republic (1877) and stopped, with its prestige, the civil war in Afghanistan (1875). He was honored by the French Government, the Geographical Society of France, and the King of Belgium Leopold II, then president of the World Geographical Society, who gave the name "Potagou Avenue" to a central highway in the town of Isiro (Paulicus) in Belgium. When he was asked to sign the travelers' golden bible, he wrote only two words: "Hell".
