It also identifies the confusing or difficult functions.

Weaknesses of the Prototype Models:

- At time, the customer may force the developer to deliver the prototype as the finished product

- At time, the developer makes less-than-ideal design choices due to time constraints. Later those choices become part of the actual system as she forgets about the drawbacks of those choices.

- The client involvement is more and it is not always considered by the developer.

- It is a slow process because it takes more time for development.

- Changing or adding Requirements to create multiple versions of the prototype results in a bad software structure.

Reference : https://www.javatpoint.com/software-engineering-prototype-model

Strengths of V-Software Process Model:

The V-Model is highly disciplined and makes project management easier. Phases are completed one at a time.

Simple and easy to understand and use.

V-Model is used for small projects where project requirements are clear.

This model focuses on verification and validation activities early in the life cycle thereby enhancing the probability of building an error-free and good quality product.

It enables project management to track progress accurately.

Weaknesses of V-Software Process Model:

High risk and uncertainty.

It is not good for complex and object-oriented projects that have unclear or contained high risk of changing requirements.

This model does not support iteration of phases. Once the software is in the testing phase, it is difficult to go back and make modifications. It is very rigid and least flexible.

It does not easily handle concurrent events.

Software is developed during the implementation stage, so no early prototypes of the software are produced. If any changes happen midway, then the test documents along with the required documents, have to be updated.

Group G: Ember

1.Abd AL-Rahman AL-Kayyal	Matric no: 1729405

2.Amirul Haziq Bin Rusli Matric no: 2010243

3.Arina Abi Matric no: 2018924

4.Farhan Akbar Chowdhury	Matric no: 2028705
