-Management of natural resources and providing them to the agricultural, industrial and manufacturing sectors.
-Detection and warning of natural disasters.
-Design protocols to decrease pollution.
-Creation of campaigns on how to protect environments, natural resources, flora and fauna.
-Acting as an intermediary between nature and those who violate the established ecological policies. 
Responsible for the elaboration of sanctions for violations carried out by corporations, institutions or individuals.

Corruption also took place within the ministry. The leaders that preceded the founders were blinded by power and money causing first, disorganization of the ministry and later, they lost total control of it.
     Because of the absence of support and the disorganization of the ministry, the lack of natural resources began. The civilians of Jatan blame completely to the ministry and started to complain about it.

Sanctions were not enforced and help from other ministries was never received. The four members of this ministry founded it with deep concern of keeping and taking care of what truly gives us life, nature. 
     Previous the creation of the Ministry, the ecological field was a very unattended one. Resources were not organized and/or managed, impulsing farmers and corporations to take advantage of natural resources.
