I was delighted to have Dolly in my Facilitation of Projects and Initiatives (LEAD 221) course. That class was particularly small as it was limited to an early cohort in Benerd’s then-new program Leading for Social Justice, MA in Leadership, but the work they did was outstanding. Dolly was an important contributor to that. Creative, thoughtful, and generous with kind and constructive feedback, Dolly demonstrated a commitment to the facilitative leadership approaches we were studying. Throughout my work with her, Dolly demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and equity in ways that exemplify our program goals and as such, is emerging into a capable and transformative leader.

- Dr. Jonathan Toccoli

Assistant Professor of Leadership and Innovation, University of the Pacific

Dolly Greenhalgh has been an impactful contributor and thought partner towards socially just education initiatives. Throughout her participation in LEAD 200 (Exercising Leadership in Diverse Contexts), Dolly demonstrated vulnerability and community care whilst critically unpacking systems of oppression alongside her cohort mates. Dolly is a strong and endearing community member who not only theorizes, but lives it; her work is closely connected to her education philosophy and mission. I look forward to witnessing her ideas evolve, hopefully towards doctoral studies, and within the education research and praxis community.

- Dr Gertrude Jenkins

Assistant Professor & Program Lead, University of the Pacific

My name is Kendra Mosley, and I’ve worked with Dolly for the past two years on the National AmeriCorps Team at Playworks. She’s incredibly committed, passionate, and knowledgeable, and I genuinely enjoy working with her every day. Dolly pays close attention to detail, asks the right questions, and always follows through with high-quality work. She’s also the kind of teammate who’s always willing to help however she can. If she doesn’t have an answer right away, she makes a note of it, does the research, and follows up. I’m excited for the great things we will accomplish as a department as I continue working and building with her.

Kendra Mosley, M.Ed.

AmeriCorps Recruitment & Member Experience Manager at Playworks
