The Montgomery Bus Boycott

The civil rights movement was a movement that fought for civil rights and against segregation for people of color because people of color were being treated unfairly in schools, work, jobs and more so people were protesting against segregation and civil rights.

My topic is related to the civil rights movement because the Montgomery bus boycott started when a woman named Rosa Parks was arrested for not giving up her seat to a white man. People of color started protesting because of the unfair treatment. It is related because both of them are fighting for civil rights.

I chose this topic because I was wondering how a protest was successful and how people came together to change something. I think the moral of the story is that if people come together they can change things that seem wrong. It will impact others because now people know how strong their voices are and if they come together, people can achieve a lot of things.
