I cannot name the number of times I've seen my classmates plagiarize or do assignments using the intellectual content of others. I understand that it can be easy to ignore doing all the work in favor of doing it quickly, as there's no need to put in much effort yourself. I've been in that position where there is anything I want to do BUT homework. Much more recently,  programs like Chat GPT are allowing students to simply put in the assignment that they need done, and the AI will compile the work of others into a completely unique assignment answer for them. If there is a question or content from a textbook, 9/10 times you will be able to find the pdf or answers to all the questions in that textbook online. Even when writing essays, many students will use the essays of students who took the class before them in order to get an easy A. Programs that check for plagiarizing and anti-AI software are very helpful in preventing this kind of content from being used. I also believe teachers should be a bit more harsh when it comes to cracking down on these things. I understand that there is a strict plagiarism policy at the school, but it's unbelievable what some people get away with. Overall a think another good change would be teachers creating personalized and unique questions for assignments. I understand this can't happen every time (my mom is a teacher - it's a lot of work).
