As a Labor & Delivery RN, my co-workers and I have been waiting for a piece of technology like this for our patients with high BMIs. Often times, women are "stuck in bed", strapped down to monitors during labor, and the nurses must constantly adjust the fetal monitors with each position change. Putting the Novii Wireless Patch System to use at work will allow our patients to be more mobile during external fetal monitoring, and will reduce the risk for error during monitoring (ex. tracing maternal heart rate instead of fetal heart rate).

Now that this new invention is being used on actual patients in L&D units, the entire experience will change for the better, for both patients and their families, and hospital staff!
