Six of Crows written by Leigh Bardugo has taken one of the top spots as my favorite read this year. It features six wayward teenagers: A convict with a thirst for revenge, A sharpshooter who can't walk away from a wager, A runaway with a privileged past, A spy known as the Wraith, A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slum, and A thief with a gift for the unlikely. This improbable group goes on a heist and must work together in order to pull off the seemingly impossible plan. With the stakes high, this group of enemies turned allies is the only thing in between the world and destruction.
