         <description><![CDATA[<div>While I knew that many families were fearful that an educated woman would not be “marrying material,” I was a little surprised to find out that some families were concerned that all women colleges promoted lesbianism.&nbsp; Similar to Neil and Yaritza, I was also a little surprised that some of the prominent women’s colleges adopted the same practices of the male dominant colleges. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Just as Niel, I myself was surprised that these prestigious women's colleges were discriminatory and exclusive in their admissions process, considering the struggle women had to endure to obtain any kind of formal education. One would think that at that given moment in time women's colleges would be more supportive and open to all regardless of background/race.</div>]]></description>
