Kelly and her family were excited about the car trips into the hills. The night before the trip, Kelly carefully examined the hills and mountains they were going to on a giant paper map. Her parents were busy packing lots of things, such as sandwiches and clothes, combined into an enormous backpack. Kelly couldn't sleep the entire night, constantly thinking about the trip, which was about to begin the next day.

In the morning, just as the sun began to rise over the horizon, the family immediately got to work. Kelly helped her parents bring their stuff into the back of their car. She also brings her father the giant map she had used last night.
The car's engine begins to rev up, and it moves outside of their home and towards the hill. Not long after the trip starts, Kelly and her family can already see the mountains on the far horizon. Her happiness was unexplainable when Kelly saw the scenery along the way, and the shining sun just added to the joy.

They begin to climb up to the crescents of the hills, and no need to describe it, it was treacherous. They often have to deal with 20% steep roads and tight turns, bending around the dangerous terrain. But, despite all the troubles, it was unmatched for the scenery along the way. Looking down the deep gorges, which are very near the road, it's a heart-wrenching experience that no one can forget. Looking up, Kelly saw a lot of white, fresh snow mixed with the greyish color of the mountain rocks. It's just so natural, so untouched by human civilization. As they get up higher, the temperature begins to drop. Kelly has read about their camping spot, and she found out that the weather is usually cold. A drop was not out of Kelly's plan.

About 3 hours later, they arrive at the camping spot they have always wanted to visit. A giant freezing lake is visible from their position. Also visible is an uncountable amount of pine trees. The ground was snow-covered, and so was the sky. But Kelly and her family have been prepared for such harsh conditions, and they have already armed themselves with thick, warm clothes. Kelly's dad set up a small BBQ station and a fire so they could warm-up for the night. They also build a tent to sleep in and some lights for vision. Not long after they finished, the dark began to set in fast.

Kelly and her family were really excited about the car trip into the hills. After all, they were on a camping trip. Kelly was wanting to get things going faster because she has wondered what it was like to stay in a tent on top of a hill with winds in the night.

Kelly's parents prepared many food supplies and gearing equipment and bought many others for their trip. They weren't going to leave a little bit of space back in their car. Kelly's family then set out to reach the hills. They took the highway and stopped mid-way to have lunch. Yummy eggs with snacks and some bread from a shop they found nearby. After that, they continued their way, took right after minutes of countless driving, and then heavily with all the stuff in the back of the car drove uphill to a camping station on top of the hill. Kelly's dad was exhausted as he and Kelly's mother stepped out of the car to have a look. The view was stunning outside with the Forrest down below. Kelly took out the camera and photo snapped some good views of it and then signed up and the camping station.

Kelly's parents were pleased to hear that there were places to put up their tent because the camping station here was very popular, fitted with fine BBQs. Kelly's parents took the nearest to the camping gates. There they settled up in their camp and ate dinner happily while watching the sunset.

Kelly and her family were really excited about the car trip into the hills. They have packed a basket full of delicious sandwiches, some fruits like apples, pears, etc, and some water and juice as well! They brought some umbrellas and sunscreen to prevent the rays of the shining sun from hurting their skin. In the car, Kelly and her family told stories, made some jokes, and sang together. The view outside was magnificent! There were plants, trees, and colorful flowers everywhere, and the atmosphere was so refreshing. The rays of sunlight danced happily on the roof car as they sang away~...

After a while of driving, Kelly's dad came across a place full of hills. Then, he chose the hill which is high enough and safe for his family to spend their time there and have a delightful afternoon. The scenery was fantabulous! You could see the entire view of the place and the sky!! Kelly's family was awestruck by the view and spend every single second enjoying it. When they reached their destiny, Kelly's mum picked up the basket full of food. Kelly was carrying the giant mattress and placed it on the top of the hill. Kelly's little brother and her dad helped Mum to prepare the food. After finishing, they sat down together, sang, danced and tell stories, and ate their food happily. Kelly's dad took pictures around the place to keep them as memories. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the sky changed its color. It's becoming grey and chilly. Kelly could feel drops of water falling from the sky. The rain started pouring out! They rapidly gathered all their food into the basket and took out their umbrella. Luckily, the two umbrellas were big enough for the whole family. They put on their jackets and coats and snuggle around each other to feel warm and safe. After a long time, the rain finally died down. They can open the basket and eat their food again. The parents and kids sang together to feel better. After chilling for about half an hour, they got up, packed all of their essentials neatly, and went back to the car. While in the car, everyone drank water and juice to refresh themselves. The road was foggy and wet, which made Kelly's dad's sight hard to see. After a while of wandering around, dad said "We're lost!" The whole family was worried about hearing the news. Suddenly, there was light striking through the fogginess! They were all relieved to find out that they have gone the right route. On their way back home, Kelly and her little brother felt sleepy, so they dozed off at the back of the car while the parents talked together quietly.

Time flies and they finally reached home, sweet home! Kelly's family had so much fun and adventure that day. Kelly's dad posted on his socials about the car trip into the hills and the readers really enjoyed the story as much as Kelly's family does. I really want to have a car trip into the hills just like Kelly's family did...Maybe someday, then!
