Cecilia Carcamo is my name. I'm twenty years old. My parents are from Honduras, and I have visited Honduras once. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and am learning ASL as a third language. My present position at Leadership Learning Center St. John Bosco is teacher-aide for my first-grade class. I focus on teaching social-emotional learning, reading, and enrichment throughout the academic year. In my line of employment, I frequently interact with children who have ADHD, autism, or hearing impairments. My objective is to become a teacher because I feel that the educational system has not treated me fairly and that has to change, which is w
hat I want to achieve.

During class Aug 30 we got separated into groups and we discussed which question we preferably chose to do research on. We chose question number 1 Because we thought it was easy to distinguish between male and female. The male is the peacock with all the beautiful colors, and the female is the one with the more opaque and dull colors. We also spoke about how the male peacock loves to draw attention to himself so that he can be able to catch the females' attention.

There are 360 species, including freshwater terrapins and land-dwelling tortoises, that are still alive today. They travel periodically across short distances and are omnivores. The habitats of turtles are being destroyed, which is causing many species to become endangered or extinct.

An important environmental worry is plastic pollution, which is brought about by over usage of plastic bags, which harms ecosystems and threatens species. To solve this problem, people, companies, and governments must discover new approaches to waste management. Single-use plastic bags can be decreased by composting organic garbage, implementing sorting bins for non-organic waste, and promoting reusable alternatives like cloth or mesh bags. Governments and businesses should encourage eco-friendly packaging options and cut back on the use of plastics. Governments can offer incentives to firms to implement environmentally friendly practices by way of lowering taxes or grants. Future generations can benefit from a cleaner and healthier environment if we rely less on single-use plastics. by making deliberate decisionss

Indeed, it can be a valuable tool when used thoughtfully and responsibly. It's essential for educators and students to exercise caution and critical thinking when using AI-generated content, especially in academic settings, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information. Overall, ChatGPT can enhance the learning experience when used as a supplementary resource alongside traditional teaching methods.

The platypus, also known as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic mammal native to eastern Australia, including Tasmania, and the sole living representative of its family and genus. The Platypus, despite its large population and extensive range, is facing threats and declines in some regions. These include reduced stream and river flows due to droughts, stream regulation, and water extraction, climate change, habitat modification due to erosion, sedimentation, poor land management, and urbanization, accidental drowning in nets and traps set for other aquatic species, predation threats from introduced species like the Red Fox, dogs, and cats, and the challenge of mucormycosis in Tasmania. These threats highlight the need for conservation efforts and habitat protection to ensure the long-term survival of the Platypus across its range.

Free Public Buses Discussion week 9

After seeing the film, I think it's great that these communities are providing free public transportation for everyone. Not everyone has access to a car and a means of transportation for going out or to work or school. Therefore, I believe that having the option of free public transportation really benefits these particular people. particularly for students, who are primarily unable to own a car or pay for round-trip transportation. Even for the elderly, who find it simpler to go around by using public transit because they are now a little too old to drive. Thus, in order to assist those in need, I believe that more communities should start implementing the free busing policy. Particularly considering how much money we spend in taxes and other fees. The funds need to be used for worthwhile initiatives like providing free public transit.

There are certain people that can connect to the video "Top 10 reasons NOT to move to Miami" in terms of people, weather, and cost. I can show this film to anybody that wish to relocate to Miami. Particularly when it comes to the financial burden of attempting to live in a city, where most individuals are from lower-income households and are barely making ends meet. It is quite difficult for immigrants to locate a place where they can develop into something greater because of the high expense of living. The weather presents a significant challenge since, despite the fact that visitors find the area to be pleasant, there are creatures, people, and plants that cannot tolerate the heat. In Miami, there is also climate change, to which there is very little control. In Miami, there is a lot of road construction going on, but because of the current cost of living and taxes, most of it becomes unaffordable for those looking to buy a home.

Food loss and waste are major environmental issues that result from food being disposed of or lost at various stages of the supply chain. They hinder food security, harm ecosystems, squander resources, and emit ' greenhouse gases. Among the factors include ineffective supply networks, customer behavior, and retail practices. Consequences might include starvation, malnourishment, economic loss, and environmental degradation. To overcome these concerns, it will be required to implement corporate, social, and individual policy measures together with supply chain innovations, food redistribution, consumer awareness campaigns, and technology developments. Food loss and waste need to be decreased if food security and sustainability are to exist in the future.

In my research paper, I'll discuss the value of public transportation and the history of transportation in Miami-Dade County, which is marked by evolving public transportation networks and pivotal moments, is crucial to resolving present infrastructure issues. Streetcars and trolleys characterized early transit, but the advent of the vehicle and Interstate 95 caused car-centric urban expansion, which drove spraw.
These decisions still have an impact today, demonstrating how crucial past choices were in creating the present travel environment. For example, Metrorail's limited service area highlights the need for a comprehensive countywide transit system. Urban design and transportation may coexist together, as demonstrated by transit-focused initiatives like Coral Gables. Future planning should uphold investments in transit infrastructure, encourage integrated land use, transportation, and sustainability planning, and engage the public in the decision-making process. Insightful data from this historical research will assist Miami-Dade County in creating fair, sustainable, and efficient transportation plans that will reduce traffic, enhance air quality, and enhance quality of life.

Significant developments that have altered Miami's growth and connectivity are emblematic of the city's transportation history. Miami was connected to the rest of Florida by Henry Flagler's railroad in the late 19th century. The introduction of streetcars and the expansion of road networks in the early 20th century simplified local transportation. Miami's aviation history truly took off in the 1920s with the establishment of the Pan American Seaplane Base and the development of Miami International Airport. Miami's Metrorail and Metroover systems are two instances of modern transportation. However, the city has also had to contend with difficulties including environmental degradation and traffic congestion due to its low-lying location. Proposals for new transportation lines and current investments are shaping the future.
