It accurately identifies which items belong in specific bins and indicates whether they are recyclable, promoting environmentally responsible waste management.

This is an AI that we named RecyclAI, which can sort out each item shown and would tell us which bin the item belongs in. We would just have to place the item in front of the camera, and RecyclAI would then show the percentage chance of which bin the trash belongs in. (However, RecyclAI is not always accurate, so please bear in mind and use common sense to do a simple cross check.)

This project pairs up with 4a percentage to determine if the user can recycle the item shown to the project. It can also clarify with the user to make sure that the item is what the AI detects it to be.
