A: I still believe that having  a variety of learning spaces within a contained room is a good idea. I think this can allow different learning styles to be accommodated at the same time.  I want students to see their teacher as being “jazzed” about their time together.

It would be well lit and well ventilated. Carpet on the floor would help cut down on noise during activities. WiFi, electrical, and USB stations are readily available.
The modular furniture can be moved and designed into one of the *Seating Re-Design options (shown on another board) for large group classes.
Spaces would include:
  • Breakout space
  • Small group project work
  • Refreshment area 
  • Writable surfaces for collaboration and reflection
  • Social space
  • Interactive Wall (see related board)
