         <title>(ELENA) TouchCast Tutorial - How Do I Use The Teleprompter In My TouchCast</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first thing we need to do is open the teleprompter by taping the camera app in the home screen. This will open a default text that will need to be changed for the script that we need.<br>It's important to mention that the script should have the pauses for breath the presentors will need when presenting the news.<br>It's recommended to position the camera to the left and keep the eyes over the white line, so the person gives the appearance of looking as directly to the camera as possible.<br>The teleprompter screen also gives the possibility of going back five lines, starting over and changing the speed of the teleprompter.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For the use of the green screen, you can use a profesional green screen, green pieces of paper put together or even you can paint a wall with green screen paint! Blue is also a valid color.<br>To go into the green screen, you must press "Effects" then tap "Green screen", and it will turn green when it is on. You can also tap color to make other colors removal. <br>After this, you can introduce your image by pressing the icons on the right of the app. You can rather add image or video depending on the icon. It is important not to wear any green clothes or they will disappear!<br>If you are recording with the ipad in your hand, make sure you press backround stablitation, but, if the ipad is stable in a position, make sure it is turned off.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This allows you to put on any scenery on the background. For best results you have to make sure the green screen in flat. You can use anything green, blanket, the wall… even blue background are useful and valid for the app. To access the green screen tap “effects” and later on the green screen button. This will cover everything green captured and changes it into the background chosen. Then, click the icon with the image or video and choose the one you want to use. Make sure you are not wearing anything green because it will also disappear. If a more realistic environment is wanted, you have to press the background stabilization button.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Whiteboard tutorial (PABLO)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The whiteboard has 5 main elements (Pen, eraser, text, arrow and rectangle). Then you can use the color pickle to choose the color you want to use, with the pen, for example. (You can aslo choose the width). There is also a possibility of choosing different types of surface (Chalkboard, glass...). For the text ypu can select different types of fonts and sizes. <br>To use the arrow, you must tap in any place and drag to the place you want it to be. The same procedure is used for the rectangle.<br>You can use de eraser to manually erease anything you want in the whiteboard. You can also press "Clear board" and everything will disappear.<br>When you have finished, tou can save the board and all the save boards will appear in a folder on the down-left corner.<br>You also have the option of exporting your whiteboard as a Vapp on the down-right corner.</div>]]></description>

         <title>(ELENA) TC Tutorial: Using Projects</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Once you have the project created with some elements you want to keep, you need to save the project, for that you click "Save Project" in the upper right corner of the screen an d click on "Save As New Project". Then you will have to change the name of the project from the default name the app has given it and click on "Save" again. Once that's done a new screen will pop-up that will be called "My Projects",&nbsp; there you will be able to open your already made projects in order to change them, improve them or use them for another project.<br>If you want to save a project that has already been saved once before you click on the upper right corner in "Save Project" and click in "Save Changes".</div>]]></description>

         <title>(ELENA) Whiteboard Tutorial</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The whiteboard has two main uses: to make annotations on the screen while filming and to create diagrams to use as vApps.<br>The five tools to use in this feature are: Text, Pen, Eraser, Arrow and Rectangle (which is to form shapes), which are all displayed in the instrument picker option. Once you've selected one of those, you can change the color of the tool with the "Color Picker" and also the width, which is right beside the color picker in the screen. Another feature you can use is the surface in which you'll be writing in, the options are: whiteboard, chalkboard, cross line and glass (which is transparent). Instead of the width in the text option, you can select the font and the size of it.<br>If you want to erase every annotation in the board you can click "Save and Clear Board" in the left corner of the screen, but it will be automatically saved in the "Saved Boards", in case you need to retrieve it or use once again, but you will be able to erase those by clicking in the "Saved Boards" icon and manually deleting them.<br>In the right corner you will find the "undo" and "redo" button and right beside it you will find the feature "Export as vApp" and once you click on that the board will go to the vApp tab and appear on the vApp tray, then you will be able to use it as a normal vApp.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When this project was presented to us it seemed like a great idea to make this year more entertaining and less stressful. But soon we hit a wall: people had trouble bringing the computers needed to work on the script and get familiarised with the Touchcast app so we had to go down to the IT room, which we weren’t able to use everyday and little work ended up being done there. That was, admittedly, the students fault, so all that work needed to be done at home, which turned the project into a time-consuming thing for some people. I don’t think to be fair to include myself there because my part didn’t need a lot of research and I had access to an ipad so I finished rather quickly, my problem relied more on having nothing to do after some time and not knowing how to continue.</div><div>After all the phases where we needed the computer passed it was time to record and then edit the video. Recording was fairly easy, with two or three people who knew how to use the ipads and controlled the progress, the only thing needed was time, which we had. Everyone got to appear at least once and it didn’t take long to finish each scene, especially since the filming crew was alone when working, which made it easier for people to feel less nervous and create a soundless environment to work with.</div><div>But the problem everyone didn’t know how to solve was editing, it seemed like too much for just one person, specially in the verge of the exams and then PAU, and also the video was so long, there were so many parts to include and edit in the middle of other videos that it seemed impossible to leave all that to someone. It worked out in the end, but I think it would’ve been better to cut down the segments so as to make five minute videos that would’ve been easier to record and edit.</div><div>Overall I think this project was a really good idea but incompatible with the rhythm of this year, where everyone wants to focus on the subjects needed for PAU and getting good grades and everyone would rather do easy stuff to achieve that.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the year I think many of us have had doubts that it was possible to complete this project, due to it's great amount of complexity and the great amount of work we would have to put into it, given the fact that this is a very challenging year for us and English is a subject which is not our number one priority taking into account the great deal of information we have to memorize and how much work we are sent in other subjects. Taking this into account, after finishing the project, I can say that this project has been easier thanks to the fact that everyone worked together, so the overall individual workload was not overwhelming and the only thing we needed was to put in some effort instead of dismissing the idea like we did in the first place.<br>It is true that some of the jobs, such as filming, correcting the script, or editing the final video, are in my opinion too much work for a year like this one. This is why I think this project would be ideal for students in a different year, such as 1° Bach. or 4th of ESO, who already have an outstanding level of English, and have a little more time on their hands. Under no circumstances do I think that this project should be canceled, because it has been a fun project overall, and it would be great to see it become an annual thing, just like building a car in technology class, something that younger students look forward to when they reach that age because they have heard from siblings or other students that it was a very fun and interesting project.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is my overview of the project.</div><div>I really think that projects are important for english classes in order to keep us entertained and not working with theory all the time.</div><div>I found the project nice, as we really felt as we were in the environment of a news team. It made us think we were working for a team thing, so that made the whole class work as one for the same objective, and that really is fulfilling.</div><div>It also had its bad aspects regrettably. It is very hard to make a project, which involves many people, work perfectly. I believe that making a 1 hour news project, even if we have one year for its creation, is a hard task for 2 bachillerato students, as we have no means for making it efficiently, and that makes it hard to complete. I think we tried to do the project as we were professionals (the language used was not appropriate for a school news program) and for me, that was not the objective of the project. If we had done it more simple, all the development of the project would have been better.</div><div>I think that this project has its potential, but still has things to be solved.</div>]]></description>
