I am going to miss your laugh but most of all your caring nature, you always had a moment to listen and always cheered me on.

I will miss you! Your energy, your laugh and general presence in the office (who else's conversations can I be part of 3 rooms away 😊)!

In some ways it feels like you have been here forever in others I cant believe its more than 5 years ago since you arrived to head up recruiting - but it feels like JOH is losing a limb! Our loss is definitely somebody else's gain.

You have been amazing since I started and I appreciate the time you've taken to answer all my emergency WhatsApp messages and emails :-) and to give guidance on so many things. You were instrumental in making the transition smooth for me. I will miss conducting interviews with you, those were always fun! lol.

Of all the things you said to me the one that sticks out the most is ‘Abi, I will not be satisfied until I feel my team members are able to take my job’. I don’t know why but to me, that just showed the kind of person you are, self-less, dedicated, passionate, a leader!

You were one of if not the best managers anyone could ask for. Talking to you was seamless, your advice was always gold and you also knew how to have a good time! I will never forget you Charmaine, I am grateful and honored that I had the privilege to call you my manager. I am grateful to have had someone like you to push me and try to get me to discover the best parts about myself, I am grateful that you were the sort of manager that took the time to understand your teams strengths and steer them towards global opportunities, and I am grateful to have had someone like you in my life. I will never forget the amazing experience of working with you. What a strong positive impact you have on people, even when they leave the Firm - and I talk from experience ... I still remember our talks and keep comparing my actual work relationships to the one I had with you : you are held in such a high bar in my eyes ! (Poor them :p)
