I went to a doctoral lecture recital over the solo violin in Gustav Muhler's music. I appreciated the music that was played and as I went home and listened to more of his works I enjoyed it even more, however there the music that was played were just examples and therefore were very short. I also didn't understand almost anything that see was talking about in her lecture, it was all too complex for me to understand. She seemed very nervous and did not look up from her notes but though I didn't comprehend what she was talking about she had an obvious great understanding of what she was talking about. She also was a very talented violinist and played with great emotion and musicality.
