The vocabulary chosen for the timeline is ideal for the average reader, or at the very least, the average listener. The wording is not flagrant, nor is it too casual, keeping to an educated limit that provides clear contextual narrative to fully explain the events, while maintaining a neutral standpoint for the reader.

The photo used was narratively sound and provided an insight to the raw emotions felt by each individual. This also emphasizes the impact of certain information by providing a corresponding visual aid. The subjects were captured as favorably as possible, showing those with authority as reflective on their situation, their thoughts driving torwards an ideal explanation for the public in the crisis.

The information source is direct from the Memphis Police Department, providing the footage and information about the officers involved and the incident itself. Information about Tyre came from his family and friends, but those comments were limited.

I beleive the target audience was as broad as possible, since the New York Times is the most well-known and most popular magazine in the 21st century. Like most of their news stories, it's concise, smart, and easy to read, despite the pay wall.

The vocabulary used is relatively normal for an article such as this, with concise wording and emphatic language used strategically to narrate the information with structural punctuality and timely narrative flow. The wording was as neutral as possible, albeit with the exception of obvious disdain for the officers responsible.

The photos included a full-body portrait of Tyre, an upclose shot of his funeral photo and casket, the professional portraits of the officers, and the SkyCam footage of the tragedy. The reasoning behind the photographic choices is meant to show the most important people in the story and emphasize the impacts each individual had. No one is presented negatively, excluding the footage. All non-footage related media features people living in the moment, smiling and bright. It's terrible knowing that one of those smiles is now gone.

The Memphis Police Department provided statements and the footage of the incident, while Nichols' family and lawyer gave indirect statements, showcasing their demand for justice. These sources allowed for the most direct and clear narrative of individuals and their ties to each stage of the incident.

The target audience is broad, utilizing common language and occasional media involvement to narrate the events timely. It's easy to read and doesn't lessen as it's continued.
