I was the very first human being to enter space. At this time I was around 27 and I was a industrial technician. The mission I was going on was the Vostok 1 and as I was getting ready and getting put into my suit I was extremely excited but also very scared. I could not get the thoughts of the many ways that this could go wrong out of my head. I was then put into this capsule and launched into space. When I got into space 0 gravity was nothing like I ever felt before. I got my altitude above earth around 187 miles and then I waited. It took my 1 hour and 48 minutes in space to orbit the earth. I grew up in a small village as the 3rd of 4 children. This village was called Klushino. One time when I was playing outside a fighter jet had to to a emergency landing next to my village. Then as a teenager growing up I loved planes and aircrafts. When i became 16 I moved to Moscow and then I joined a flight club and I flew for the first time.
