1st

pictograms use pictures and symbols to represent data the data is represented by a symbol or image showing the value by using the word key for example; key: banana is equal to 2 so that means each banana showen as a picture is actually referred as 2 bananas

2nd. they are used for easy reading purposes for people who don’t understand hard graphs and this graphs are easy for everyone

3rd. you read a pictograms by counting the amount of the item by using the key to identify how much is the value of the item

4th you make a pictograms by using a horizontal and vertical line but the horizontal line must be higher and the values and name if the object or item should be added and there should be a key for a clearer explanation

1. A pictogram is a way of conveying or showing data in the form of pictures. The pictures usually represent the object in the data.
2. A pictogram is used to show data in a more interesting and easier way. It is easier to understand and more attractive, but this depends on the pictures itself. 3. To read a pictogram, first check the key. The key tells us the actual number that a picture represents. Then count the picture and multiply it with the key to get the correct number. 4. To make a pictogram, we must first count the data. Then draw shapes or picture to represent the number or amount according to the data. If the number is too big, divide it and add a key. Lastly, make it into a table and organise it.
