Tiny pants may grow inside of their hair called algae and it has a strong color of green which would expain why their hair would change color. Green bears have been spotted in zoos more often due to climate change. They take the weather changes tough. In the text it states, "... So even captive bears can generally maintain their bright white sheen all year round.
