Promoting education on water conservation and why it is important (Present - Future)

From now and in future, education on water conservation should be taught in school, it is important for students to get know the significance of water and why it shouldn't be wasted. Although it may seem like teaching water conservation in schools is a small change, every small action made by many individuals can make a huge difference.

Building wells/rainwater catchers ( 20 years)

In the next 20 years, wells should be built in as many cities for easy access of citizens. Along with rainwater catchers and possibly any other water solutions. These water solutions should give citizens safe, clean drinking water while also providing easy access instead of having them travel

Improving water infrastructures (10 years)

In the next 10 years, improving water infrastructure in Africa is important to tackle water scarcity. Which means to invest in projects such as dams and treatment plants to promote water recycling and rainwater.

Desalination (20 years)

The process of Desalination should happen as soon as possible up until water is completly safe to drink possibly in the next 20 years. Desalination is the removal of contaminants such as salt, nutrients, and minerals. Industries in Africa can use desalination with tertiary water treatment to ensure the cleanest water for their process water requirements.

Water reuse (20 years)

In the next 20 years, water should be reused maybe until forever. This is where water that has been collected and treated is reused, this allows water to be used for beneficial purposes like agriculture, environmental restoration, and more.
