Library Parking Lot

New Castle County Clean Stream Champion program will be at our Block Party with rain barrels. New Castle County residents can purchase one through the Clean Stream Champion program for $50, while supplies last. 

Purchase the rain barrels directly through https://cleanstreamchampion.org/rain-barrels/ and then pick them up at the Brandywine Hundred Library parking lot on September 12, 2026 from 10am-2pm

Did you know? With a rain barrel, you can use stored water for your non-edible plants or outdoor cleaning. Reducing your water consumption and managing stormwater runoff at the same time!

Rain barrel specifications:

• Includes 45 gallon barrel, lid and diverter system

• Reversible lid can be uses as a planter for herbs or annuals

• Made of 85% recycled materials

• Includes diverter and all parts needed for installation

• Diverter is easy to install and winterize

• No special tools needed; hole saw included
