As Stanley, looked out the bus window at the far and long vast land, he is blaming his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather for the reason he is there. He is being sent to Camp Green Lake for the crime that he committed. Many say that he deserved it, while others think it was his family's long curse to blame. Camp Green Lake is a place where bad kids go and dig holes, which builds character to make them good. It is a harsh place with only supply of water for the next 100 miles out of camp. The staff or people in charge treat the kids with harsh challenges and duties just for their own greed.
