Students earn ₱100, ₱50, ₱20, ₱10, and ₱5 bills for active participation, answering questions, helping classmates, or showing effort during class activities. The colorful play money adds excitement and motivation, making participation feel rewarding and fun while encouraging positive behavior and consistent engagement.

Each item in the basket has a corresponding price — ₱25 for glue, ₱10 for pens, ₱5 for erasers, and more. Students can choose to save or spend their fake money on these classroom essentials. This fun, store-like setup promotes responsibility, decision-making, and a sense of accomplishment while reinforcing the value of active participation.

The activity allows students to practice pronunciation, tone, and articulation while exploring how emotions influence speech delivery. It also develops expressive communication skills, helping learners gain control over their voice and facial expressions. Through this fun and interactive approach, students build confidence, fluency, and emotional awareness in speaking.

Each student receives a Bingo card filled with different words. As the teacher reads the words aloud, students listen carefully and mark or highlight the ones they hear. When a student gets “Bingo,” they must read aloud the highlighted words to earn points. This fun and interactive activity strengthens listening and pronunciation skills while boosting confidence and enthusiasm in speaking.

In this activity, students use a diagram of the mouth and tongue to explore the correct placement and movement involved in pronunciation. The teacher presents an IPA symbol and asks guiding questions to lead students in identifying how and where each sound is formed.

This hands-on activity strengthens students’ phonetic awareness and deepens their understanding of speech production. It also helps them connect theory to practice by observing the physical aspects of pronunciation. Overall, the activity promotes accuracy, clarity, and confidence in speaking through interactive and guided learning.

These scrolls serve as visual learning tools that help students understand the connection between symbols and actual sound production. They also support different learning styles by combining visuals, text, and examples for better retention. Through these scrolls, students can easily refer to accurate models of pronunciation during lessons and practice.

A 1/4 board with segmented word cards will be displayed, each segment containing a word that highlights specific vowel and consonant sounds, diphthongs, blends, or glides. Students will take turns “moving” along the snake by correctly pronouncing the word they land on.

If a student mispronounces a word, they must return to their previous spot.

The game continues until a player reaches the end of the snake. Throughout the activity, students will collaboratively assist one another by giving feedback, modeling correct pronunciation, and encouraging their teammates.

In Part I (IPA to Word), students identify the correct English word that matches each IPA transcription.

In Part II (Word to IPA), they choose the correct phonetic transcription for the underlined words.

Finally, in Part III (Oral Practice), students read the words aloud to assess their pronunciation.

To evaluate their performance, students scan a QR code that links to ELSA Speak, which provides an automatic pronunciation score. This assignment helps learners develop pronunciation awareness, listening accuracy, and oral fluency through both written and spoken tasks.
