         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>We noticed that the gap is big for our SPED and Title students. </p></li><li><p>Working in small groups for HD Word is working. 6MS is working. High-frequency words are working.</p></li><li><p>In order to lessen the gap, we are going reevaluate our HD Word groups to be able to fill the holes they have.</p></li><li><p>Keep chipping away and trusting ourselves as educators. Celebrate all the growth, no matter how small!</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>-5th noticed not as much improvement as other grade levels</p><p>-3rd  bell curve was more towards the red than green.</p><p>-3rd Swotek, start 6 min in small groups</p><p>-4th those that had repetition were showing improvement the most</p><p>-5th constantly doing 6min with fidelity</p><p>-3rd getting constantly and with fidelity</p><p>-5th letter phonics screen was done after they met due to wanting to  find the gaps</p><p>-Stick with it!</p><p>-</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>4th Grade had more red on the graph.</p><p>Over teaching fluency but students have made growth.</p><p>Lower kids that have a high frequency word intervention are making improvements.</p><p>5th grade not making the growth they need to be making.  </p><p><br/></p><p>4th grade is doing HD words differently.  Every student is reading every single day.  </p><p><br/></p><p>We can all be more aware of who we are standing by and listening to read.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This is PM data.  That tells us that we need to ask more questions.  Here are my questions: </p><p><br/></p><p>Shouldn't we be most concerned with the data at 3rd grade?  Maybe all of our resources should be focused on K-2 with the hopes that the students in these grades will be proficient by 3rd grade, a nationwide goal.  </p><p><br/></p><p>Of the students being intervened with how long have they been receiving an intervention?</p><p><br/></p><p>Are the results showing that students are resistant to the intervention?</p><p><br/></p><p>What diagnostics have we given to make sure that the intervention is meeting the needs of EVERY student? </p><p><br/></p><p> Are we going back to what we learned in volume 1 of LETRS to guide our interventions?  Or, are we simply using a program and turning the pages?</p><p><br/></p><p>Shouldn't we also be intervening using data from our CORE programs?  I know that I am and it has made a huge difference just spending an extra 10 minutes with some students on core practice.</p>]]></description>
