What skin groups are there?
Yes, all of us have a skin name! There are 16 – 8 for boys, and 8 for girls. We say: “Nyiya nyiya nyuntu-npa?” – “What’s your skin name?”
 
How old is the school?
It started in 1972, so it’s 44 years old.
 
What are your houses like?
Normal! 
 
What’s your favourite food?
 
What kind of activities to you do on the weekend?
 
What sorts of things do you learn at school?
Warlpiri, English, Maths, Cooking, Sport, Singing, Art, and sometimes dancing! Sometimes we learn about Warlpiri culture, like pulapa (dancing), our Jukurrpa (dreaming), drawing sand stories, and visiting our country.
 
What’s your favourite subject? Why?
 
What do you like about going to school?
 
How far do you have to travel to go to school?
 
Do you have buses? Do you have cars?
'of course!'. But we don't have buses like you do in the city - just the school bus and the 'Warlpiri Express', which goes around town getting kids out of bed who are not at school, and the 'bush bus' which goes to Alice Springs.
