I am a Native American youth. I was kidnapped from my family, and they brought me to the Carlisle Boarding School. They made me chop my hair off and I felt bad because that was a big part of me. I have to follow all of the rules and they treat me with disrespect. I feel hatred in this school. Making friends is easy because  I know most of the people here. The others feel bad because they got taken from their families too.

           My name is fergus smelcer and I don’t think kidnapping kids to bring them to a boarding school is right. I am a native youth and I am forced to go to a boarding school. I think its wrong how I am forced to change my language and my beliefs. Destroying my cultural identity doesn’t make me feel important. Nobody has the right to cut off my hair. Having young children do military drills should be considered a crime. I'm still a kid I want be able to live my life freely, not getting controlled by old people in a boarding school. I hope this message can make people think about what we have to go through in boarding school.

 Dear all other African americans and Americans, I am am a fellow African American who is protesting against the Dakota Pipeline. May I remind you that we all need to stand strong. The Dakota pipeline will affect our water. Water is not a renewable resource. If the water is affected by the oil, we will have no more water. The human body can only go three days without water. After the three days, the human population will start to die out. If you enjoy gardening, you will need water to help the plants or crops grow. Without the water, the plant will wither up and die. If anybody has a pet, you will need water. To either have the pet drink it, or if you have pet fish, you will need water for them to survive. Today we have taken the last straw. We will not lose. We need to stand strong. Many people enjoy drinking water, and if the dakota pipeline is under our lake and seas, it might break and pollute our water! All the animals that live in the ponds, lakes, and seas will die. Some people hunt in those places for food. The Oil Spill was no joke. I am pretty sure we don’t want that to happen again. It took a long time to depollute the water. Many people will be angry and they wont stop until we achive victorious. We will fight and continue to fight until we win. We wont care if we have to stay up and protest. We will do it until we win. When people are agrivated they form an angry mob and protest. And sometimes it turns into a life and death battle. But we don’t care. We will do whatever it takes to win!

my fellow Americans  I would like to discuss an important matter with you
that divides us the Dakota pipeline. I personally support the pipeline the
pipeline will help save us the costs of oil explosions and fires which will save
the American oil truckers lives. The pipeline will also get us about 20,000
jobs with the pipeline and It will keep my promise on creating jobs. The
pipeline will also boost our economy and boost the stock market as well. The pipeline will also help expand companies wich will also create more jobs. But I will compromise with the natives IF necessary. The compromise with natives will redirect the pipeline through Minnasota ,Wisconsin and Illinois. But that is only a compromise I hope it wont come to that but I am ready if it does. Until than I say this to you Goodnight.

Our people should not be forced away from our family, and our loved ones to be forced to learn others traditions,lanuguages,and religion.They started this in 1870s when the United States was still in war with the Indians.We were tooken of our necklaces and other trible things that we charished.We were forced to were fancy clothing.We slept in bunks with other tribes that we didn’t know we were forced to pray to the god that they forced us to.Children died because of the illnesses that whent around the bording schools.We where not able to have our loved dream catchers.They will make us into what they wanted us to be just because we lived near them. Dakota pipeline letter

     Dear: Donald Trump, I think that you should not have us out their building the Dakota pipeline. First of all its way to much money and work. Second all that oil getting transported from different states is way too dangerous. Also the barriers that are getting transported are way to heavy is they were to fall off the truck people would be seriously hurt. People like me don’t want that to be built all that land could be a village for homeless people. As you can see a bunch of people don’t want the Dakota pipeline to be built.

I don’t think the Dakota Pipeline should be built because it would through many of Native Americans homes. Also because it could ruin their water supply, also if the pipe would happen to break, it would leak and go into the water that they use and they could get sick because of the oil. They wouldn’t be able to drink the water so they could die from not keeping themselves hydrated. The money that you are spending on trying to build this pipeline could go to better things.

Dear diary I am still at this awful boarding school. my teacher embarrassed me in front of my friends. It was just because I turned in a assignment late that does not mean embarrass me in front of my friends. I hope this incident does not make me lose my friends because I worked so hard to get them as my friends and I refuse to lose them. No not good I heard whispering from down the hallway probably them so not good. It is 12:00 pm time for lunch and the ultimate friendship test here goes nothing. Thank goodness I still have my friends wait what is this I opened up the letter and if was from an unknown person. And it said there will be no second chances do not screw this up this is your last chance. I am so scared who is this and why would they send me such a cryptic message I should tell the principal about this cryptic and terrifying letter and search for where it came from.

 

        My expirence in bording school was a disaster I was humiliated in front of the jocks but there was one guy that stoll my girl friend in a street race his name was Isaiah agosto he drives a 2016 dodge chalenger.I drive a 67 chevy nova with a small block big tire with a small block pumping out 450 hourse power with nos.Then on top of that my teacher tried to fail me in math but I

            How would you like to be kidnapped to a boarding school?  These children were abducted and sent to a boarding school.  In this boarding school, Boys hair had to be cut off.  Also, they had to wear uniforms and practice military drills.  If they tried to escape, they would be shot.  Due to this situation, Pratt was told to take 72 Indian Prisoners to Fort Marion in Augustine, Florida.  Kids died from diseases like tuberculous, influenza, and trachoma.  Most people died at this boarding school from tuberculosis.

         While we are resting I had time to write this letter to you monsters who are agreeing with this.
 I want to tell you how I fell about this. How I look. I am bruised cut all over me I am bleeding all over from falling of hunger. My people are dying. My mother is sick; my father died of frost bite last night. we didn’t have time to grab any of our possessions. So I am freezing at night trying to stay alive. we walk every day trying to get to this place. But people keep dying and we have to keep stopping to bury them.i remember   the day they took us like it  was yesterday . I  was just playing with my friends when I saw the men take my mother and father. They broke your pottery smashed your food. But what did we do to deserve any of this. So please I am begging you all I can with all my strength in my heart to stop these men and bring us to your home. And if I die safe the young generation please.

June 10, 1879

Well it was a horrible day for me I was in the house with my mother and father and brother that’s  when they came into my house. My mother grabbed me they were start smashing things destroying everything that’s when they grabbed me and my brother my mother was screaming ‘‘stop what are you doing’’and cringing at the same time. I was 12 and my brother 13 we had no idea what was going on I could here my mother from a distance crying my brother holding on to me. Then we had to take a train to were we were going. Then we rode in a wagon and after that we had to walk a little bit then we were finally there was a huge house. They took my brother and the rest of the boys and the girls in different places o f the house the were getting there hair cut then all the girls and boys had to stand in a straight line. They said ‘’ give me your satchel and anything Indian’’ . But they came to me and I would not let them take my stuff my grandmother gave it to me. I put up a fight but not a good one they took my stuff.
