1. After taking Spanish 2, I am able to express a lot more things. The most prominent one is that I can speak or write in imperfect and preterite tenses and before I really only knew present and a bit of preterite. I also learned a lot of vocabulary this year. The units I learned the most vocabulary in were the ones about cooking and accidents/emergencies. I also learned about how to give directions like first, then and later through our “How to make a dish” project and that was a big help. 
4. I think there are many differences between English and Spanish such like the different ways to say to be in Spanish. We don’t have that in English so it’s a bit confusing. Another big difference is verb conjugation. For example, in English, we don’t have different verb endings for each conjugation we just have a completely different word like I am, she is, they are.
5. Something that i find very interesting about Spanish culture is that they have a siesta in the middle of the day were you go home and chill or take a nap, I really think that we should put that into American culture because by about the middle of the day I am done with the world and want to go to sleep. I also think that their food is very exciting because i really like all the flavors in spanish foods and i would love to eat that food for every meal. Another thing I think is cool is their architecture, especially the more traditional architecture. I like the colors and way that things are sculpted perfectly. 
6. If I continue the Spanish language, I want to know some of the “slang” I guess you could say, things that you would say as a greeting or goodbye on the street or to a friend. 1. Learning Spanish in an online class was definitely very different than learning in a face to face class. I think there were some pros and cons to it too. One of the pros was that I was free to manage my time however I wanted, I could get everything done for the week in the first couple days if I worked quickly and then i could use the rest of the week to study or do homework. This class taught me some time management skills as well, for most of the year i had everything done on time and easily and then towards the end of the year when things started to stack up and schedules were being moved around, it was harder but still very doable. Of course there were some downsides like not being able to talk to many other people taking the course face to face and the teacher as well but RLCs were a pretty good substitute for that. 
2. I liked that I was free to do my assignments on my own schedule and manage my own time. I also liked that it was independent and for all the projects there were lots of different tools to use to create my projects and it gave me room to be creative and artistic. Something I didn’t like about the course was when you go to to the screen that has all the modules for the course listed and a check mark on the right side, the check mark is there if you’ve looked at it and has nothing to do with if you’ve completed it at all. I think if there is a way to make it so that that check mark means it’s completed that would be very beneficial because sometimes it’s hard to tell if something is completed.
3. To help myself learn Spanish during this course I went through the provided flash cards before each vocab quiz and I watched a few of the videos. I also tried to complete all of my assignments early or on time and watch the recordings of all RLCs. To improve I definitely need to go over my answers before i submit a test or quiz and add more detail to my projects and presentations. I will also study the verb endings and stem changing verbs.
4. My teacher was actually really good this year, whenever I had a question she would text me back quickly and answer it. It also really helped that she sent out the recordings of the RLCs because I have a busy schedule and often couldn’t make it to one of the classes. There wasn’t really anything else that I can think of that would’ve helped more, it was a very well organized and managed course.

1. Cuando mi viaje en España fue terminando, fuí a la aeropuerto. Cuando llegué al aeropuerto, había un incendio! Los bomberos rescataron los personas pero mucho de la gente estuvo quemado o muerto. Dos personas tenía piernas que fue roto y los paramédicos fueron ayudaron esos personas. Un persona tenía muletas grandes y el otro tenía un silla de ruedas. Yo ayudé a los personas que necesitó vendas o agua para sus quemaduras. Por supuesto había un retraso!

1. En los fines de semana, me gusté mucho ir de compras con mi amiga Michelle. Un fin de semana, nosotros fuimos al centro comercial para comprar ropa por un viaje a las montañas. La primera tienda tenía trajes de baños y sandalias, los montañas fue muy frío, no necesitamos trajes de baños o sandalias. La segunda tienda tenía calcetines y zapatos, no necesitamos esos cuando hay nieve o lluvia, necesitamos botas. La tercera tienda tenía abrigos, pantalones y botas. Fuimos a eso tienda y compramos bufandas, abrigos y pantalones. Mi bufanda fue de lana, fue turquesa y muy bonita. Mi abrigo es azúl claro y un pequeña, es de algodón y es muy comfortable. Mis pantalones fueron magentas y dorados y fueron de seda artificial y pequeños. Cuando encontramos la ropa perfecto, pagamos por la ropa. Pague con tarjeta de crédito y Michelle pagó con efectivo. Cuando estamos caminando a nuestras casas, vimos un mercado de arte. Vimos abanicos con flores más brillantes y colores muy lindas. Vimos estatuas de personas famosas y pinturas bonitos de la ciudad de madrid. Compramos aretes de oro para nuestras hermanas y yo compré un cuchara maravillosa por mi collecion.

1. Mi familia anfitriona fue muy saludable. Para mantener su salud, comieron muchos frutas y verduras, cada semana fui al mercado con mi padre anfitriona para comprar la comida. Compramos muchas frutas y verduras, mis favoritos son zanahorias y manzanas. En sus platos, mi padre usó mucha lechuga porque le encantó los ensaladas. En sus platos, mi mamá usó especias como azafrán porque le gustó los sabores tradicionales. Mi mamá le gustó cocinar paellas, usó sal, pimiento, azafrán, y otros especias en su paella. Me gusta mucho mi amiga en España que se llamó Michelle. Ella tenía un perro que se llamaba chimichanga. Era adorable y muy pequeño. Mi familia tiene un hamster y tenia dos peces pero ellos murió. Mi familia anfitriona tenía un gato gordo que se llamaba Mizzie y un perro que se llamaba zapatio porque le gustó comer los zapatos. Michelle tenía música muy interesante, le gusto la música rap y latina. Me gusta la música rap y pop. Mucho de mi familia anfitriona y mis amigos le gustó la música latina porque en España eso fue la música tradicional. Michelle también tenía un ocupacion en un restaurante, ella fue un camarera. Mis padres anfitrionas también tenía ocupaciones. La mamá fue una bombera, ella recató personas y ayudó cuando haba un inciendo. La papá fue un profesor en un universidad, ello enseñó estudiantes brillantes todos los días de la semana.

1. Mi familia es de los Estados Unidos así que soy Americano. Mi bisabuela es de Colombia así que ella es Colombiano. En mi familia anfitriona, la mamá era de Cuba, era Cubano y la papá era de Venezuela, era Venezolano. Los niños eran de España y eran Castellano. Toda la familia hablaba inglés y español y los niños hablaban francés también. Los niños se llamaban Ángela y José. Eran los hijos de sus padres. Los padres de sus padres eran sus abuelos y los padres de sus abuelos eran sus bisabuelos. En Día de los Muertos, toda la familia de mi familia anfitriona, vinieron a la apartamento. En los Estados Unidos, no celebramos Dia de los Muertos cuando había una chica. Celebramos Navidad en diciembre con toda mi familia, Pascua en abril con mis abuelos y los cumpleaños de mis hermanos y yo en Mayo, Septiembre y Octubre. Saludé la familia de mi familia anfitriona con un “Hola, me llamo Grace” y un beso en su mejilla.

1. Mi apartamento en España fue muy bonita. Viví con un familia anfitriona en el centro de Madrid. En los Estados Unidos, tiene amigos con familia en España y ellos dijeron que yo pude vivir con su familia cuando hab¡a en España. Es un apartamento muy largo así que fueron muchos quehaceres que necesitamos hacer. Primero, yo lavé los platos con una esponja y lavé la ropa en la lavadora, el papá cocinó la cena con un cuchara grande y arregló los cuartos, la mamá hizo las camas con sus manos y los sábanas y el niño pasó la aspiradora, finalmente, la niña cortó el césped y dio la comida y leche al gato con un bolso de comida y un cartón de leche. Un día, la lavadora fue rota y necesité llamar un plomero. Él usó sus instrumentos y arregló la lavadora!

El primero parte de mi viaje a España fue mi escuela. Cuando estuve en España pasar mucho de mi tiempo en mi escuela. Me gustó estudiar, leer y escribir en la biblioteca en mi escuela. En un día típico, desperté a las seis de la mañana y me pongo la ropa, después, fui a la cocina y comé mi desayuno, finalmente, me cepillo los dientes y el pelo. En mi escuela, había cinco clases en un día. Me gustó mi primero clase de ciencias, mi tercero clase de matemáticas y mi cuarto clase de baile. Mis otros clases fueron historia y inglés. Mi clase de inglés fue muy aburrido porque yo puedo hablar inglés! Me clase de historia fue interesante pero mi maestra fue muy malo y le gustó gritar a sus estudiantes. Después de escuela, fui al parque para practicar fútbol com mi equipo. Nuestro equipo se llama El Fuego y fuimos un equipo fabuloso. Cuando el práctica estaba terminado, fui a mi apartamento y yo dormí.
