ELT has to be more structures for all other general ed. groups. Currently, we see too many inconsistencies from one teacher's class to the next, even through they are expected to remediate/reteach the same AKS for that week. I wish there was a way to have ready made, literacy based resources to reteach weak AKS without going through the time consuming process of having to find/create text every week. That would give us the consistency and more of the effectiveness that we are looking for. When we begin to do different things across contents, it becomes muddy and sometimes unmanageable as there are too many exceptions being given. We should do a better job of monitoring the effectiveness of ELT by enforcing the TT quizzes for next year for each content area. Some have "strayed" to use it for "catch-up" ....but this has been addressed.
7th Grade - The plan is well laid out and the increased rigor of the questioning used makes me believe that it is a good use of time.
