Since carrying out some basic research I've realised Lipsy will not be a suitable brand to study and research for this project. They are not classed as a retailer but a brand, they also are looked after by Next PLC who have a strong performance during this pandemic. Using Lipsy for the comp shop will be tricky as they do not appear under retailers making it harder to compare. As they are not an independent retailer and do not have their own website they will be hard to single out away from Next as a whole company. It allows me to identify how the brand can differ from their current competitors and also what points to pick up on to be closer competition for the aspirational brands. The high street brands are hard to compete with as now a days all high street retailers are so similar. Zara also is in very close proximity to Mango and Bershka as they are both owned by Intidex. As for the other main competitors on the high street it is easier to differentiate themselves from them from time to time.
