Which are mainly Montessori and also Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, Forest educational approaches. The tools that are implemented at Limon Montessori Kindergarten are drama, Orff Schulwerk method, outdoor/forest trips and on site nature observations, Montessori cycle works, Waldorf therapeutic plays, project hours inspired from Reggio Emilia approach which is based on intense child observations, developing Social/ emotional aspects of children via play in small groups together with psychologists, systematic personal interviews with children and also with parents, monthly seminars for teachers and parents on constructing better and healthy relations with children and etc.

 Our school is a Junior High school, one of the six state Junior High schools in the town of Ptolemaida. It has 249  students and 37 teachers working either full-time or part-time. It offers students general education with a variety of theoritical and practical subjests according to the Greek National Curriculum. Up-to-date teaching and learning methods are used in a democratic, aesthetic and pleasant learning environment.   
Our students are aged 12-15 years old. They come from different social and economic backgrounds. However, with the area having the highest unemployment rate in the country during the last decade,  the biggest challenge is to support and motivate the students to benefit from the educational process at school, to develop their interests and talents and to show them future perspectives.

Our institution is a very recent school cluster with approximately 1500 students. Currently, 189 teachers work in the school. It is a state school cluster and includes students from 3 to 15. 
The area of pedagogical influence of the current Montelongo School Group comprises 15 parishes in the municipality of Fafe which includes students who have all the support from their parents, product of the environment of the urban center and also a percentage of students from the most desertified and poor area of the municipality. 
The institution is therefore called to respond to audiences with very diferente characteristics.
