It started out bright with peaceful music and then turned dark with horror like music as to imitate something from a nightmare. This was an introduction and exercise into Artaud's theatre of cruelty. The exercise was designed to play on our emotions and then later toy with our minds, hence leading us into a false sense of security with the brightly lit room and peaceful music which then turned nightmare-like. Created at a young age, Rodrick is the more violent and aggressive persona, compared to Rudie who is timid and won't stand up for himself.
