Mark Making I created a piece of artwork experimenting with shapes. I utilised paddle pop sticks to trace the lines and a glue stick to create circles. Once the shapes were established, a range of mediums were utilised including grey lead pencil, black permanent marker, glue stick, paddle pop sticks, pastel crayons and watercolour paints. I noticed that by utilising the glue stick and paddle pop sticks, I could create two different types of shapes that formed a symetrical line. The permanent marker created a bold effect on the artworks and when the crayons and paint were applied, it enhanced the shapes even more.
