1) The curriculum of the Flemish primary schools will be updated in the coming years and we know that the models and findings of the ATS STEM project will also be included in the discussions.

2) Aspects from the ATS STEM project will also be systematically included in the guidance initiatives from the GO! pedagogical advisory service to the GO! schools with regard to STEM education, both in primary and secondary education.

(1) To support the Policy for Digital Education of the MOECSY, CPI implements the Programme “Digital Competences Development for Educators” aiming to strengthen and further develop teachers’ digital competences to promote the effective use and integration of digital technologies in the teaching and learning process. One of the learning modules offered is called “Assessment using digital tools and environments”. This module will be updated using results from the ATS STEM project on how ICT tools can support an ongoing process of assessment of transversal skills, including peer- and self-assessment.

(2) MOECSY is the National Contact Point for SCIENTIX in Cyprus. As such, MOECSY is planning a face-to-face national conference in October, to encourage schools to develop strategies to improve uptake of STEM education. We will present results from the ATS STEM project during this conference.
(3) To support schools in formulating concrete actions for strengthening their digital capacity the “Innovative schools and Teacher coaches” program is offered to schools. The program is based on the SELFIE Pedagogical Innovation Assistant Toolkit (SELFIE PTK) which provides step-by-step guidelines to schools for reviewing SELFIE results and setting priorities and goals, developing a SELFIE-based action plan, implementing, and evaluating that plan. Results from the ATS STEM project will be added to the projects’ website as examples and good practices on how a school can improve in areas such as “Cross curricular projects” (SELFIE Item F6), “Digital Assessment” (SELFIE Item G1), “Assessing skills” (SELFIE Item G2), “Self-reflection on learning” (SELFIE Item G6). Since SELFIE PTK has been developed under another EC Erasmus+ project called SHERPA, results will also be included in the official toolkits’ website. This will enable upscaling and dissemination of the ATS STEM results to the EU level, through the SHERPA partners countries (Italy, Estonia, Finland, Greece), but also other interested countries (e.g., Portugal and Ukraine are already in the process of translating SELFIE PTK). 

The staff of the Austrian Foundation for Innovative Education (“Innovationsstiftung für Bildung”) was regularly informed by UWK about the ongoing updates of the project and invited to the Policy Maker webinars of the ATS STEM project. Results of the ATS STEM project that could provide an opportunity to implement the ATS STEM approach in Austrian schools were translated into German and forwarded to the Austrian Foundation for Innovative Education (“Innovationsstiftung für Bildung”) as well. 

UWK intends to stay in contact with these institutions after the end of the project to discuss possible follow-up projects.
