Hitler wanted to Unite all people of German "Blood" to create a greater German army. Post WW1 many Germans were scattered across Europe, some of them were being persecuted.   by "German speaking" he means people of the Aryan Race, or what he considered to be the "master race", ideally, an Aryan person would be someone who was tall, pale white with blonde hair and blue eyes. Some examples he talked about were how German was forced to disarm while no other league members did and the fact that some countries didn't pay reparations because they were too weak to pay but Germany had to make payment despite their crippled economy; also how Germany had to lose its colonies when no one else had to. The treaty left Germany humiliated and a shell of its former self, Hitler wanted to restore it to her pre-WW1 glory. Hitler felt these conditions were extremely unfair. He believed that an army of that size meant Germany could not defend herself and as previously mentioned, he wanted to restore Germany to her pre WW1 Glory. The Rhineland had been demilitarized by the Treaty of Versailles. It was a very profitable strip of land that bordered German and France.  It had a large amount of heavy and light industry (coal, lead, lignite, magnesium, oil, and uranium) and Hitler felt that it was susceptible to attack, this point was backed up by the Ruhr conflict that took place in 1923.
