MY SENSATION

At that time, when I entered my backyard. I heard chirping of birds and crickets, the stirring of leaves in the breeze, and the distant sounds of neighbours. Moreover, I experienced the glow of sun on my skin, cool wind and the delicate grass under my feet. I could taste the freshness of mint in the wind, or the smoky flavours of food cooked on the grill of our neighbour's. Additionally, I could sense the tranquillity of nature, the scent of flowers in bloom, and the overall sense of peace and relaxation that comes with being outdoors.

MY FEELINGS

This experience made me detect an association with my own young life of guiltlessness and innovativeness, mayoe reeling a yearning for more straightforward times or valuing the magnificence of creative mind. It might likewise summon a feeling of profound respect for the kid's creative play and an acknowledgement of the significance of cultivating imagination in youthful personalities. In general, it can bring out sensations of sentimentality, warmth, and appreciation for the marvel of life as a youngster. I felt like I came back to my childhood.

MY THOUGHTS

This experience of imaginative play, features the the rich tactile encounters that youngsters can experience through play in the natural world. Outdoor play allows children to explore their senses in. vivid manner. Through play, they hear the hints of nature as well as feel the surfaces of different surfaces, taste new natural products of vegetables, and experience the different aromas blossoms and foliage. Furthermore, play in nature animated kid's creative mind and imagination, as they communicate with their environmental factors and design new games or solutions. It cultivates a feeling of marvel and interest in their general surroundings, empowering investigation and discovery. Overall, this experience highlights the significance of giving open doors to youngsters to draw own with nature through play, as it sustains their physical, mental and profound improvement while encouraging a profound association with the regular world. During that, imaginative play of backyard florist, made my childhood memory fresh. When I was 7-8 years old, I used to play with my friends. I used to play very similar imaginative play stories with my three friends . There was a park before my home. We three used to go there to gather various leaves and blossoms, then out of that we planned various things like, leaves and blossoms hanging for decoration, stamp painting and assuming that leaves as a medication to play specialist on my house terrace.

CREATIVE WORK AND TEACHING PRACTICE

The set-up of imaginative play is in a small backyard of a house, where grass is grown next to a wooden fence on a sidewalk which is creating a sense of nature in the urban environment. Among the grass there are three beautiful red plants, two of them being large and one small which is adding a vibrant sparkle in the backyard. Moreover, the presence of cockatoos both perched on the fence and on the ground tells about birds' interaction with their surroundings. The weather, which is partly cloudy with sunshine, makes a pleasant environment for humans, plants and birds. Chirping of birds and crickets giving a relaxing and soothing effect to my mind. Observing nature calms the body. As an educator I have used this artefact as a teaching opportunity to make children think of nature and think of play. Combine the two. Nature play is not just any type of outdoor play, as nature play involves playing with nature , not just a nature .(Erickson and Ernst 2011, Hardwood and Collier 2027). My own childhood imaginative play stories helped me to create that play story of “Backyard florist shop “ where kids are assuming grass grown by fence as a shop. Talking to each other and with birds as a shopkeeper and customer and observing nature deeply. This play makes kids feel better by fostering emotional well-being and strengthening social bonds between them, and makes them smarter by boosting brain development. Backyard provides a place as outlined by Greenmen (2005) , outdoor environments for children should also provide places to be human, places for creative and constructive play, and places offering opportunities for environmental or nature play. Nature play not only helps in connecting children to nature but also makes them learn about nature . Moreover, it helps children to get engaged with wander and mystery of natural world, rich sensory firsthand experience is essential for growing minds. Natural world also offers many opportunities for cognitive development by using all there senses (feel, taste, drama) about the world around them an integrated approach is far more efficient and affective. The North American Association for environmental education (NAAEE 2016) suggest using environmental learning curriculum framework for intentionally fostering growth and development. As an educator i will practise these strategies in teaching young children by allowing them outdoor environments and open ended materials ( such as garden and provide opportunities to interact with real elements like water, rock, soil and plants) fostering sensory experiences and imaginative play. Additionally, talking children on nature walk an exploration by guiding them to rediscover the nature and its natural properties , help them to learn about weather and telling them stories about world around them . The role of an adult (educator/parent) in fostering creative play is less about teaching and more about as Rachel Carson (1956: 45) says , “if a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder … he needs a companionship of one adult who share , rediscovering with them the joy, telling them about the world around them.

REFERENCES

Person, Ruth, & Wilson.
