Tiresias foretold about the gods testing him and his journey will be rough. But if he "raid the beeves," destruction for his crew lays ahead.

Scylla is a “huge and monstrous”  serpent that ate 6 of Odysseus's men. She has 12 tentacles, 6 heads, and "rows of fangs." Although Circe informed Odysseus ahead of time , he would rather sacrifice 6 men than lose the whole ship.

CHARYBDIS
Charybdis is a dreadful whirlpool that sucks in  anything that comes even close to its way. She's a deep endless pit in the middle of the water, trying to devour her prey.
