“It is ok to not be ok.” - So many people find themselves overwhelmed with whatever life throws at them and oftentimes these stresses, overworking, frustrations, and even little problems can cause these people to lose sight of who they are. However, because of society's pressure on the way we present ourselves, it is quite common for these people to hide their problems and act as if their life is this picture perfect story. With my verse, I want to remind people that it is important we take care of ourselves and take a step back. It is perfectly acceptable to acknowledge that you are in fact “not okay” and seek out the help you need in order to take care of yourself and those around you.
