Her first exhibit in went online in the Spring of 2020. Laura writes, "I have spent much of the last 2 years in my Windsor Terrace home painting in a small comforting room almost daily. The act of making color marks with my paint brush in watercolor or oil provided a way to sit with deepest grief and deepest love. These are small work with no end point , no goal, not much vision. Just the moments to breathe. with the beauty of the smallness of my world. This show is dedicated to my friends and family whose love and encouragement have kept me afloat more than they know. And to the memory of my mother and my father." –––Artist Biography: Laura Zeidenstein has lived in her Windsor Terrace neighborhood for more than 40 years. During the pandemic she has maintained an almost daily painting practice as a way to balance her recent retirement from her career as a midwife and educator with the isolation of the pandemic.
