He tricked him once then he got help from his Mammy and she said to make him turn into a possum. In the text it does not say where he was. So he got home and there was a surprise at home and it was a new dog. JD didn't seem excited at all with the new dog because when he came into his room, JD just looked at him. My main question that I had was where was was he all summer? 

I picked this picture because thats what the dog looks like and thats how I imagined him when the author described him.

When he saw him, the conversation seemed really uncomfortable because it just seemed like they were kind of mad of each other. They mention someone named Jamie. It says in the text "Great something else I dont want to talk about. I really messed up with this one, its like hitting a train and saying you made a wrong turn." In the text it says "I didn't tell my mom that I was going out, I didn't need to and I wont. She cant stop me from hanging out with these boys if she doesn't want me to be around them." When I read this I thought that maybe JD and these boys maybe hung out and something bad happened and thats why his mom doesn't want him to be around them.
