    • ]]>     2021-05-06 12:44:43 UTC https://padlet.com/nweissanfo/SLexpo2021/wish/1497833258     Grade 4 and 5 Service Learning Project https://padlet.com/nweissanfo/SLexpo2021/wish/1524220393   We students in the grade 4 and 5 class worked collaboratively to complete the worker’s book. Much of the work was done during student free time. In addition to our busy social lives and homework routines, we put in the additional work needed to complete the worker’s book for service learning.
      Working on the project taught us the importance of communication in order to ensure the book was completed at the highest possible level of quality. This specific project showed us the benefit of living and learning in a bilingual environment as our knowledge of both the French and English language helped them complete the project.
      One of the challenges that the class faced was the unequal distribution of labor. While some of us worked on the book multiple times per week, there were others who only worked during the class’ weekly service learning block. An additional challenge faced was the limited amount of internet, while we had access to ample devices, there were several instances where internet access slowed our productivity.
