Take different types of music, print out the song lyrics to each song and work on different approaches to creating choreography and how to express the moods/feelings and message through movements we would create together. Also, to break them up into smaller groups to do the same so they can tell their own story and show it to each group. We can have an open discussion about each piece. I need a room suitable for movement to fit the size of the group. Mirrors are not a requirement. Must bring pencils so they can make notes on their song sheets. Journal optional. 
  
What would you like students to work on/ think about (independently) during their pre-Passion Day prep time? ANSWER:  The students can think about the different types of music they like. They can think about if certain types of music effects their moods: makes them feel happy, sad, energized... do they have a favorite or perfect song that fits who they are as a person? Songs are like perfume. And everybody has one that describes them... makes them feel their best. They can write down their favorite song and tell us what they like about it.
