2. She is writing in 2nd POV because she is addressing to the reader or people, who think that they aren't wanted, that even if they have a bad childhood or something in their life, they can start again and move on.
3. This is similar to the book "Allegedly" because Mary, the main character, believe that she was born in the world without a purpose and that she isn't wanted by people and by the world.
