Being a Professional soccer player consists of high protein meals and at certain times high carb meals. For example, soccer player Christian Pulisic's breakfast usually consists of avocado toast with a fried egg on top. Most professional teams have a nutritionist to keep players in check to make sure that they are eating healthy. Anthony Papadopoulos, another pro, has a lunch that has pasta, yogurt, fruits, and vegetables to maintain a healthy diet throughout the day. Another thing that soccer players have is very extensive recovery days.

A professional soccer player's day could be very calm but it could also come with many different challenges. On a normal day players will wake up early in the morning around 5:30 am and have a healthy breakfast then head to the training facility for an early morning workout, after the workout players will head into the locker room and heat another high protein meal to get ready for the day. After their second meal of the day they head out to train for around two hours. After training they head home at around 1pm to rest and get ready for training later on. After waking up they get something quick to eat and head to training. After the final training of the day they head home or go do some sort of team building activity. After this activity they head home and rest and do things to heal their body for the next day to do it all over again.

A professional soccer player's recovery days can look very different from day to day, some days they might go to the training facility and use the hot and cold tubs at the facility to heal their bodys quickly. Players may also use things at home which can consist of some sort of pilates, using a leg roller, or using special leg massgers to heal themselves for the next day of training or possibly for the next day's match. Some people may not think soccer players have to go through extensive recovery days but there are many different things that they need to do in order to be healed for the next day.
