It does, however, show how some businesses do operate, which as the piece of art says, is scary. Phil Knight has done an excellent job supporting his employees and building the company through the people he started it with. It doesn't seem like Shoe Dog specifically connects to this piece, however, because the business world and the way it is portrayed in the poem, speaks volumes about how most businesses and large companies operate. The show Ballers follows Dwayne Johnson as Spencer Strasmore who must navigate his new carrer of being a finnicial advisor for NFL players. The connection between real world and Shoe Dog is that of the sports business world and how difficult and confusing it can be. Ballers shows the ups and downs of the finnacial side of sports. It does not specifically highlight CEO's however I do think that CEO's are highly succesful. Monson keys in on Positive Mental Attitude, Good Directiol Attitude, Self Motivataion, Sense of Urgency and Never Stop Learing. I beleive that with those 5 pillars you can accomplish anything in life to the absolute fullest. These games offer the closest simulation to being a CEO. These games capture what it takes in order to be succesful.
