All of the terms are familiar and current in either academia or professional environments. The terms discovered in this unit are of interest and relevant in today’s society, especially for those of us interested in educational psychology and technology. Altinay (2020) describes how educators and instructional designers require diverse technological enhancement options; however, the options must be pedagogical while consistently engaging learners. Bardone (2020); Ritzhaupt (2018) indicate educational technology is essentially a combination of technological apparatuses effectively reinforcing instruction and learning. The field of educational technology emphasizes topics like learning theory, assessment, evaluation, and instructional design in coursework in our academic programs (Ritzhaupt et al., 2018, p. 22)
