It explains that remittances is a top foreign currency and is expected to be at $667 billion in 2019. However many remittances are not getting invested into the land because the actual owner is not in charge so a new platform is proposed to hire third party lenders to invest in the land for them.

This article relates to class because we discussed about remittances and how many migrants send money back to help pay for basic needs for family back home. In an Anthropology class I learned that remittances are also used to invest in land where they can build retirement homes. This article was interesting to me beach it looks at a new platform to invest in the country and help improve the land by investing in land for farming.
