Sometimes the book is better than the movie. It has more detail and you can use your imagination. Even though they changed a few things, Matilda was my favorite movie when I was younger. I preferred the book over the movie, but the movie was really good too! The actors were really funny and the movie had a good lesson :)

The book is always better because it lets you use your imagination of what the character looks like, and the book has way more description than the movie. The movie is usually only two hours long, but the book requires time to read and allows you use your imagination.

Example: Percy Jackson, the book is way better than the movie because the author originally wrote it. The movie is totally different than the book.

In my opinion the book is better since you can use your imagination, and when you read something like a peaceful moment you can see in your mind a image you think is peaceful instead of what the directors of the movie think is peaceful. Another reason is not all directors follow the book and sometimes they use something compeletly different then what happened in the book instead maybe they made it less fun or less twists.

Example : Maze runner the book is so much better and the movie is completely wrong.

I think that most of the time, the book is so much better, but there are extremely rare exceptions.

For example, I read "The Mysterious Benedict Society" and I loved it, but when I watched the TV series, I noticed that it missed a lot of details and was very different. I think that books have the advantage that they are more creative and you can experience the story firsthand.

Also, the characters have their true nature, and movies sometimes change that.

In my opinion, I believe that the book is better than the movie because the book can delve into a character's thoughts, emotions, and motivations with greater detail and depth than the film. Films have a limited amount of time to condense the main idea of the book.

I think books are better because, you can use your imagination, to imagine the characters and whats going on. Also it has way more detail than a movie does and in the movie some parts has changed. Movies do the imagination for you although it could be fun you could also ruin your eye sight from watching it to much.
