Most of the time, I overthink my answers to questions, believing that they are incorrect. Sometimes I need confirmation to know that I'm on the right track. I struggle with participating in class, especially when the class is large, so I dislike being singled out to answer a question. If I know the response to a question and am sure in my answer, I will raise my hand, even though this is one of my most difficult challenges.

This year, my goals for English are to read more and improve my short story analysis skills. I don't enjoy reading, but if I find an enjoyable book to read, I can get into it. I usually have problems figuring out details that assist me in identifying mood, tone, diction, context, and subject, as well as hidden meaning.

My biggest goal for Millwood High School is to keep consistency in my attendance and schoolwork. This used to be a difficulty for me. Sometimes I lose motivation to do my best work, and I fall into the habit of staying home from school. However, I can avoid this if I take breaks when i need them.

Rap is the genre of music I listen to the most since it's what my brother introduced me to when I was little, so I enjoy it. I also like pop and R&B. I don't watch many movies because they can be too long sometimes, but if I had to pick one genre, it would be a comedy. I enjoy playing video games. My favorite games to play are Fortnite and NHL.

I am 16 years old and live with my mom, dad, and brother. We spend a lot of time together going to hockey games and watching shows and movies. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my closest friend Meaghan, listening to music, and watching hockey. Megahan and I have been friends for five years, since we met in grade 6, at school.
